I used to be able to whip out 2 page LO’s so easily. And I struggled with 1 page, single photo LO’s. I find that ironic. What changed? Design team work. No, really…when you work on a DT it seems that it’s easier to showcase a kit, a paper line or a technique with a single page, single photo LO. I got really good at doing those. In the process, I lost the ability to do the 2 page LO’s. Well..at least not as easily. So I put them off…LOL!!!
This is a LO of a family trip to Bennett Springs, MO. It was a day trip as we were stationed nearby.
I was THRILLED with this title. Not because it’s the greatest title ever thought up on the planet. No, I was thrilled because this title came from a pile of leftover letters from a package of Thickers that I had already used up and only had mis-matched letters and nothing worth saving. I was playing with them on my desk as I was sorting my half used packs of Thickers and organizing them when this title came together! Of course, the “n” was actually a “y” that I trimmed down and obviously turned upside down to make the “n”. The zero was an 8 that I trimmed. YAY…I not only used up part of my February Counterfeit kit for this LO but I also used up some old letters that were on their way to the trashcan!
Thank you for looking!!

I totally know what you mean about being able to whip out a 0ne picture one page LO in a snap...I struggle with the two page LOs too. Although, I have been challenging myself to make them because I am running out of storage for my albums, so I need to get more pictures on a page so I don't need as many albums....Sigh....So you throw away your thickers? See, I was thinking I should do that at some point, but I was afraid I would go to jail or something! Bawhahahaha! Love the LO. Beautiful work like usual!
I normally also only do single pages these days.
Love the circle border so cute
Clever you with your Thicker rescue! I struggle with doubles - I don't like the ones I've done. So I end up sometimes doing a similar second page to use the extra photos as I don't ever seem to plan an actual double :)
Brilliant use of scrappy stash - well done! Lovely DLO - though I am envious of this being page #13 from your kit - great scrapping this month Tara!
I love this-beautifully laid out!
Ohhh look at those gorgeous eyes! Hi Seth! :) Cool use of the thickers - every time I see the pages I made at yours I remember hanging out using your thickers up
Nice job on this, I struggle with 2-pagers now too. But I am trying to substitute 2 pictures or a picture collage on great sketches where there is only 1 photo so I can get more pictures scrapped.
