September 2023 CKCB Inspiration Kit Reveal and Social Media Hop

It's the first of the month and time for our inspiration kit reveal and social media hop over at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog!  This month Master Forger Tina is in charge and she has picked us a beautiful kit to take inspiration from and shop our own stash to create a kit for us to use this month. It's just fabulous.  With no further to-do, here's this month's Inspiration Kit from Not Just For Boys Kit Club, "Aurora" Limitless Kit

Isn't just beautiful!  Next, I'd like to introduce you to our Guest Designer, Jennifer Croasdale!!

Hi, I'm Jen and I'm glad to be joining you this month. I have been scrapbooking since 1996 when my sister showed me her album. Patterned paper is my favorite supply, but I love everything scrapbooking. I live in NJ with my husband, Fred. We have two grown daughters and three grandkids. Most of my layouts are about travel or family. I am inspired by challenges and look forward to this fun month of scrapping with you.

Normally, when I begin kitting for CKCB each month, I always start with the paper.  I kinda did that this month, but kinda NOT.  I knew I had that package of 49 & Market ephemera in my stash.  So, I pulled that and the matching chipboard plus one of the Viken patterned papers from that collection.

This is how I started matching up my other papers for my kit-from these three items.  It's a little different than I normally do it but not too much.  LOL!!  Here are all of my patterned papers for my kit.

I really did a deep dive into my patterned papers.  I chose papers from Amy Tangerine, Basic Grey, Fancy Pants, Paper Studios paper pads, and a sheet of cut fussy cutting elements plus one more piece of patterned paper from Paper Rose.  One of my papers in the kit was actually stuck behind another and doesn't show up in this photo unfortunately but it's a sheet of aqua with multi colored butterflies from Basic Grey.  I am quite happy with my paper choices!!!  I wanted to make sure that I had papers to scrapbook my boys too, so there's plenty of non floral pieces in there.

Here's a photo of my whole kit plus some close-ups!

Don't forget to check out the full hop this month, including our Guest Designer!

Thank you so much for stopping by my channel today!  Lots of love to you and have a scrappy day!
