A couple of new LO's

I got my March ScrapGoods kit in the mail earlier this week and I've been trying to create with it. The technique for the month is about frames and mitering corners. They have lots of nifty tips and stuff in the newsletter that I have been way to lazy to read AND it came with this horrid little ruler that I don't like. I've been mitering corners with a metal ruler, a kraft knife (ssshhh dont' tell PAT) or scissors:
