August 2021 CKCB Reveal and Blog Hop!

It's the first of the month again and it's time for a new Inspiration Kit over at Counterfeit Kit Club Blog, or otherwise known as CKCB!  If you are new to CKCB, you can check out our About Page on our blog to see what we are all about!   But let's get on to the new Inspiration Kit!

Master Forger Lisa is bringing us our kit again this month and she chose a beautiful kit from Dani Peuss from May 2021!  Let's look at the photo!!

There are few add-on kits as well. I am going to share those photos because I took my inspiration from those as well as the Main Kit.

The first add-on is the Sticker Sheet and Paper Pad.  I liked the labels and the rainbow stickers.  I don't have but one sheet of the Heidi Swapp Carefree line of papers so, I went a different way with those as you'll see.

The second add-on is the Embellishment Kit.  If you know me, you know I absolutely love word and phrase stickers.  And tags.  And washi.  I was able to pull all of these items from my stash.

The last add-on is the Paper Add-On.  I not only spotted some Maggie Holmes and Heidi Swapp patterned papers in this add-on, but also some Prima.

The very first thing that I did was dig through my Heidi Swapp and Maggie Holmes collections.  I only had one sheet of the Carefree line as I mentioned above, and it was actually in a Hip Kit Club kit.  LOL!  I have the entire line of Maggie Holmes Garden Party so I pulled out the sheets I wanted to use from that line.  I didn't own actual sheets of patterned paper from Prima as I tend to only buy their embellishments, but I did have a 4x6" Journaling card pad from the line in the Paper Add-On.  Here are my papers that I included in my kit.  I have twenty 12x12 papers and 4 8.5x11 sheets.

Whew! That's a lot of paper.  I think that might even be a record amount for ME! Hahaha!  As you can see, I went with more blues than the pinks. I added pink in my various embellishments.

In this photo, you can see the tags that I created in June in the Killing The Kit Series.  They matched this kit, so I put them in my August kit!  I had some KaiserKraft stickers from their Marrakesh line that were partially used so thought they would aslo go great in my kit!

Here are some more word and phrase stickers/chipboard.  I love these and included quite a few to play with this month!

My alphas and some Maggie Holmes titles!

Upper right hand of this photo, I included a Studio Calico kitty themed embellishment/Pocket card kit that I have had forever.  You can see all of the washi tape I added.  Some of the washi is from the Prima Santorini line that you saw in the Paper Add-On kit from the Inspiration Kit.  There are some journaling cards and tickets embellishments from that same line.

More embellishments in this photos.  Only the puffy sequins are opened.  The rest are brand new, never opened.

More embellishments plus some twine.  I added the brand new alpha die in place of the stamps from the inspiration kit.  There are no stamps in my kit this month.

I know you are wondering why on earth my kit is so big.  This is the last month of the summer vacation.  My granddaughter has been with us since July 18th and is going back home on August 3rd.  I have not been able to scrapbook while she's here and I am feeling withdrawal symptoms.  LOL!!  In July, I didn't put very many embellishments in my kit.  And I hated that.  I didn't feel like I had much choice when scrapping so I definitely rememdied that this month!!!

I am so thrilled to see Sarah back as a Guest Designer this month!  She joined in our iNSD crop and challenges back in May and as a thank you for playing along, she was invited by Master Forger Lisa to be a Guest Designer for August!!!  Here's our Blog Hop this month!  Please check out the other Master Forgers' blogs to see how they worked this month's kit!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!  I hope that you can find some great inspiration in building a kit from your own stash.  Have a great Sunday!!

Gorgeous kit :) I'm thinking you, me and Leslie are the paper hoarders in the group as we all have a huge amount of papers in our kits :) Yes that is why I add so much embellishments so I have lots of choices :)
