Courtney will be 10 on December 18th. We had her birthday party this past Saturday the 16th. We invited lots of girls but not a single one of them showed up. I was so sad for her. She seemed okay with that though. Luckily my SIL showed up with Alexis and Gabriel so Courtney had someone to play with. This was probably best anyway-this way she could spend some time with Alexis!!!
We also had my grandparents, my mom, and Pat's "adoptive parents" Larry and Trudy out for the party. With my 5 kids we still had a houseful!! She seemed very happy with it. Papaw called to wish her happy birthday because he was hauling cattle and couldn't make it with my mom.

Funny thing ... my kids have an annual Christmas party the last day of school before winter break and this year my dd invited all the girls in her class ... not one of them has RSVP'd. How rude! I blame the parents!!
