A few LO's

I have been working on a few LO's over the last few days so will share with you:

Picture of my little sister and her (then) fiance, Daniel.

Pictures from Seth's 2nd birthday.
Picture of my older sister's children, my grandparents (bio father), and my uncle's daughters.
"B" eating with her chopsticks.
Hee hee I love this expression on his face....loved that snarl. I was happy that I was able to catch that expression with the camera!
Picture of Patrick, sleeping in his recliner...a very common sight.

I am a little bit irritated that this one didn't scan very well. The second page is skewed and well it just didn't scan correctly...tough, not redoing it. LOL. Pictures of my nieces and nephew.
I have done one other LO...but it's drying so will share it another time.

NEWS: I have my friend, Marinka, visiting from NL. She came with her three children and we are completely enjoying ourselves. Her children don't speak English but I think the kids are having a wonderful time...and THEY eat my cooking...even when my own kids don't! LOL.

While the computer is down....I will scrap...

Well...while I was scanning ten million times...and waiting and waiting....I scrapped. LOL....

These are in no particular order...

This one was actually done for a guest designer contest (no I didn't win but I got another LO done!).

Now this two pager...I kept it simple BUT see that KEWL flame job on the bottom of page one? I had Tyler draw that for me and I colored it in with chalk. I think it turned out rather COOL!

Lest you think I haven't been scrappin...

Yeah...RIGHT. Like I am gonna stop. My house would be cleaner...I'd DEFINITELY get more sleep....I'd have less stuff...but I'd be less happy...so the less than immaculate house, sleeplessness and clutter I'll live with.

Miscellaneous Spring 2004 LO's:

These next two LO's are of my sister and her kids. I have several other sets of photos to do of them for this particular album in 2004 and then it will be done.

Home safe and sound!

We arrived home on MOnday morning at 5 a.m. from Texas. We had a VERY good time with the exception of the visit to Pat's mom's house in Corpus Christi. I got some awesome photos to scrap.

I did have my CT scan this morning. I won't know a thing until the 20th-more waiting-big eye rolling inserted HERE. The tech said that the doctor MIGHT contact me by week's end if there's something urgent...so here's to hoping I don't hear a THING.

Some new LO's to share

s
This is a two page LO using ScrapGood's March kit which features 3 Bugs in a Rug papers and a stamping technique using Tack N Peel which is some "stuff" (doncha LOVE my technical terms???) that you adhere to an acrylic block. Once the Tack N Peel is on the block you peel off the top layer (and save it) and you can put ANYTHING on the block such as noodles, Cheerios, etc...and stamp with it. OK so I didn't use the technique on this LO but had to share. Great fun! The photos in the LO are of my baby sister just after she graduated from the Police Academy.
This is a LO of my dh Patrick. So now you know what I did with that glittery L I made. This was made with SG's February kit. I love the kit here and it's technique was using glitter.
This is a LO I did at my weekend Unbirthday Retreat at my Friend's house. The challenge was "Ugly Paper". This is SG's September kit and it hasn't been a favorite of mine but I have LOVED every LO I have made with it. This one is no different. LOL!!! At this point in this post, I am thinking why don't I make this an SG ad since every LO I have done so far is from one of their beautiful kits. OH! Picture is of my mom and her two sisters at a family reunion in September 2005.
This is a LO of my ds Seth after the above family reunion. It was so late and he was tired but very DIRTY!!! So in my haste, I stuck the boy in the kitchen sink to clean him off. As you can see he is NOT a happy campter LOL. So that boy needed a hug. :D OH and guess WHAT, this is paper that didn't come out of a SG kit-ROTFLOL.

Thanks for looking!

Congratulations to my baby sister and her new baby girl!!

What a busy night I have had. I got a phone call from Melanie half an hour after we walked in the door last night from going to the park. Her water had broken. So Pat loaded me up and took me to meet up with her and mom at the hospital. After 12.5 hours of labor which included pitocin, baby getting stressed due to the pitocin, and an epidural...we are PROUD to announce the birth of Laci Breanna Marie May. She was born May 28 @5:50 a.m. weighing in EXACTLY 6lbs and was 19" long. She's a cutie!! Mel is a little concerned about her cone shaped head but I have reassured her it will go away eventually.

Update on the Days of our lives saga

Or more appropriately titled-MISSION: Rescue Mel. I shouldn't even be cracking jokes-really. Its been a rough 24 hours around here. So here goes-ready? Melanie is my pregnant baby sister. The one I gave the baby shower for a couple of weeks ago-NOT to be confused with the one giving me a hard time over the make-up (her name is Serenity). I was scrapping my little heart out last night when I get a frantic phone call from Mel. She's screaming crying and yelling. I can't understand a WORD she's saying so ask her to repeat. Heard a few ahem-CHOICE words from her mouth to understand she caught her husband sleeping with Brandi (you might need to re-read the initial post about this situation if you have no idea what I am talking about). And they weren't sleeping, if you get my drift. So I call my dh at work to tell him I am heading out to pick Mel up and would he please drop in on the kids to make sure everyone stays asleep. At this point it was 1:30 a.m. When I arrive at Mel's house, she is packing EVERYTHING. Needless to say, we called for help and around 4 this morning we arrived at my house with our vehicles full of stuf and we crash-well I do apparently Mel was too upset to sleep. :( Today I spent most of the day helping her finish moving her stuff into our parent's house. She is safely at her friend's house tonight who is keeping her mind off things for today. I hurt for my baby sister, but I am SO glad that this happened before the baby comes. He's territorial over his kids and we already know he's going to try to fight for joint custody. Unfortunately for him, we know he's abusive and he's got a police record for abuse and lost his deputy sheriff's job over abuse only 3 weeks ago. So...please pray for this situation if you will. Melanie needs prayer and lots of loving from us. She needs lots of support for when this baby comes-she's due June 9th.

So I have been working on my album. I am getting closer and closer to finishing this 2003 album. I can't wait. I would LOVE to have it done by the end of the month but realistically I might finish half of what is left. I have done 5 LO's in it this month so far so nothing to sneeze over but wish I was a faster scrapper. So here are some of my new ones.

Baby shower pictures

OK-I decided to go ahead and post these pictures before I went to bed...if I don't do it tonight it won't get done-LOL. Tomorrow is lesson planning day. If I am a good girl, I can get them all done while Emily and Seth are napping and at bedtime I can scrap...if not I will be doing the darned things when I would rather be scrapping!!! :D Enjoy the pictures.
