Just another day in….

Paradise?  I don’t think so.  You’ll have to excuse me, I am cranky today.  5:45 a.m. doesn’t agree with me as a wake-up time.  I woke up, needing to pray however and did so.  Then went back to sleep, and woke again to pray some more.  I then was up for the day because I had to take Emily to a doctor’s appointment.  Nothing serious.  She’s been allergic to oranges-we’ve known this info since she was 16 months old.  The allergist who verified it said she would likely outgrow it by her 3rd birthday.  We were busy with moving and stuff at that time…so we just got around to getting a referral to an allergist.  Landstuhl wouldn’t see her, so had to take her to a German doctor in Ramstein-Miesenbach. Nice lady… HOWEVER, I was disappointed to find out we couldn’t have Emily tested today due to her getting 5 immunizations yesterday afternoon.  The doctor, who didn’t introduce herself and so I haven’t a CLUE what her name is…LOL, said Emily’s immune system would be too compromised.  Another appointment in two weeks. I’ll update you then…if I don’t forget.  LOL
So…we bought Tyler a cell phone and one card for his minutes.  We were frustrated with trying to figure out where he was all the time.  He didn’t WANT a phone.  He fussed about it.  And what do you think happened?  HE SPENDS EVERY WAKING MINUTE ON THE SILLY THING….BAHAHHAHAHA

Another one our children, looks exactly like his father.  Even more so than Tyler.  Hard to believe I know…but I can see me in Tyler.  I can’t in Seth.  Seth got my nose and my feet.  And welll….he might have picked up something else in the process.  See I like organization.  You can’t tell it by my computer desk:

But I promise…my closets and drawers and cabinets are organized, things are filed away in places.  My computer desk is the place where everyone DUMPS things.  It looks better now.  Anyway…back to Seth.  He has inherited my tendency to be organized.  I am SO glad ONE child has…the rest of them have NOT.  LOL.
The other day, I noticed Seth’s shoes in the  bottom of his closet were all in jumbles. I didn’t have time that second to fix them and thought to myself, “I’ll get to it later”.  Two days later, I decided to fix them and THIS is what I found:

Nope..no one told him to.  He did it all on his own.  LOL.  I ROTFLOL when I saw it and ran to get my camera.  Pat told me that evening that the night before Seth was telling him that he HAD TO FIX HIS CLOSET to have a clean room.  No one has ever told him that before either.  giggle
OK, one more thing…a LO to share….

LO…

I have actually finished TWO today, but the first one is for the OSU color challenge so I will wait to share it on Friday (May 1).  I also made a card… I KNOW…everyone have a heart attack.  LOL ( to my non-regular reader’s …I am not a card maker).   I can’t share THAT on my blog either because it’s for someone who DOES read this and it’s a surprise.  LOL.  I mailed it today.
BUT here’s a LO using up scraps from the previous LO.  It looks better in person.  I think this scanner of mine is JUNK.  The colors are off and it made it crooked…I GIVE.  I want a new one, but this one is only a year old or so.  LOL
happy days
Pictures are of my nieces and nephew, Spring 2005.

More LO's.....

These are the final LO's from my 2004 Family albums that I have been working on FOREVER!

This first LO is of Pat and Seth putting together Seth's toddler bed that he refused to sleep in. LOL.

This page is a compliment to the above so I used the same papers and scheme. Here's Seth sleeping in the bed...note, this lasted three days before I gave up because he was SCREAMING to sleep in the crib. :D

This one is for my sister...well she can't have the LO but I knew she'd LOOOVE the title. Let's see if it gets her to leave a comment on my blog. ROTF

The story is (I think) is she was driving through Arkansas to see family. The kids were tired of the driving so she pulled over at the nearest river and let the kids swim...IN THEIR UNDIES....I'll refrain from the Hillbilly comments. :P~~~ Ducking that coffee cup that was just flung in my general direction. Love ya sis.

Ummm, this is a terrible LO...nuff said.

I just LOVED these pictures. I had a good time working on this LO once an idea came to mind. This is when having a full stash of patterned paper such as mine comes in handy...I could NOT figure out what to do with these until I flipped through my patterned papers and found these by Cosmo Cricket. Fun. I couldn't get it to scan and stitch properly so gave up. You'll have to pardon the photo as it's dark here and I didn't get a great pix.

This is the LO I didn't finish before 2009. I love how it turned out. In fact, I am mostly happy with the work I have been turning out. Remember early December (or was it late November??? LOL) how I said that I was turning out such garbage. I discovered it was because I wasn't taking the time to play with my stuff and enjoy myself. Once I figured that out and starting making huge messes and dragging out all my fun stuff, I started making some nice things again. I think this is one of those. LOLOL....

Hope you enjoyed my creativity plug....love you all.

A few LO's

I have been working on a few LO's over the last few days so will share with you:

Picture of my little sister and her (then) fiance, Daniel.

Pictures from Seth's 2nd birthday.
Picture of my older sister's children, my grandparents (bio father), and my uncle's daughters.
"B" eating with her chopsticks.
Hee hee I love this expression on his face....loved that snarl. I was happy that I was able to catch that expression with the camera!
Picture of Patrick, sleeping in his recliner...a very common sight.

I am a little bit irritated that this one didn't scan very well. The second page is skewed and well it just didn't scan correctly...tough, not redoing it. LOL. Pictures of my nieces and nephew.
I have done one other LO...but it's drying so will share it another time.

NEWS: I have my friend, Marinka, visiting from NL. She came with her three children and we are completely enjoying ourselves. Her children don't speak English but I think the kids are having a wonderful time...and THEY eat my cooking...even when my own kids don't! LOL.

While the computer is down....I will scrap...

Well...while I was scanning ten million times...and waiting and waiting....I scrapped. LOL....

These are in no particular order...

This one was actually done for a guest designer contest (no I didn't win but I got another LO done!).

Now this two pager...I kept it simple BUT see that KEWL flame job on the bottom of page one? I had Tyler draw that for me and I colored it in with chalk. I think it turned out rather COOL!

Lest you think I haven't been scrappin...

Yeah...RIGHT. Like I am gonna stop. My house would be cleaner...I'd DEFINITELY get more sleep....I'd have less stuff...but I'd be less happy...so the less than immaculate house, sleeplessness and clutter I'll live with.

Miscellaneous Spring 2004 LO's:

These next two LO's are of my sister and her kids. I have several other sets of photos to do of them for this particular album in 2004 and then it will be done.
