March 2021 CKCB - Layout #3

I have another layout to share with you from my March kit!  This is a fairly simple layout.  Sometimes simple is enough.  At least that's my mantra.

This layout features the grand prix cars my children made with their daddy who was in Korea at the time.  We finagled getting kits earlier than they were offered so we could mail them to daddy who did the initial cutting and then he mailed them back to us for the kids to finish.  Seth was fascinated with The Titanic at that time and so his car was modeled after the Titanic.  Emily just wanted a flowery car.  AWANA Grand Prix was my kids' favorite thing because they are SUPER competitive!  And they win...every single time. This year, Emily actually beat Seth out in the overall race where they raced each of the three first place winners against one another.  LOL!  She was super happy about beating her big brother!  LOL!

This next layout has embellishments from my March kit, but the patterned papers are from my stash.

Thank you for stopping by blog today.  I hope you have a great Friday and weekend!  The first day of Spring is on Sunday.  I wonder if it will snow here in The North Country. LOL!!!
